O.P.I SHATTERED

Today I scoured the city of Toronto in search of the hottest new nail polish by O.P.I. Obviously, I wasn't the only one who couldn't wait to get their hands on the spfx polish, as everyone who carries it has been put on back order until sometime in February! O.P.I is the first company to launch this effects nail polish in Canada, but it was Barry M. who started the trend in the U.K. (see barrym.com for more info on their version).
The face of the new line, is none other than the glamorous Katy Perry, and the names and colours are inspired by her career and attitude.
In order of appearence

Teenage Dream, Not Like the Movies, Last Friday Night and The One That Got Away.

So getting back on track, what is so great about the new Shattered Top Coat? Well, a picture is worth a thousand words...

Instructions for use: paint your nails your favourite colour. Add one layer of shattered top coat over the colour of your choice |(please note, the colour must be completely dry before you apply the top coat). Watch in amazement and total and utter glee as the top coat "shatters" the colour to create and instant animal print effect!!!!

YES, it is THAT simple to have totally rock and roll nails! I can't WAIT to get my hands on this product and do a full review, but for now, I'm all ebay search and no opi.

For those of you who are looking for some other really great nail polishes, please visit O.P.I's official website (and be sure to check out one of my all time fave colours - I'm Not Really a Waitress)

  1. Not Really a Waitress is probably OPIs biggest seller.
What did you think about the Burlesque line? I was OBSESSED until NONE of the glitter ones stayed on over 6 hrs. I bought the WHOLE LINE without knowing. Mir.
PS. I LOVE THAT YOU HAVE THIS. Be prepard for me on here every day.

  2. Hey clarity!

Im glad you're so enthusiastic about my blog! ;)

As for the burlesque collection, I loved the colours and was gifted a couple of them. I found that on their own, the glitter polishes chipped very quickly as well. Try it with China Glaze's anti chip base coat (you can get a micro bottle for about 2 bucks), and a good top coat. I found with this recipe I was able to get a few days of chip free nails!
    Hope that helps!
